I asked the product squad about it - they said its because y'all used the same telephone # too many times. I don't know how long you need to expect for it to "clear."

"This error message means the user had used the same phone number across multiple accounts (either signing up or restoring suspended accounts) in a short menstruum of fourth dimension (concluding few days/weeks). "

I had the same problem over a couple of days, and I tried it again and over again to unblock my account / creating a new password many times, etc.  but finally I saw always "your account is temp. suspended ...  -  Usage limit exceeded. Endeavor again tomorrow."

the solution for me:

I used a dissimilar phone number (from a friend) for sending/receiving a new unblock code

the reason for blocking my account was an issue with my security settings / notification past: my phone number,

which I used temporarly for a second microsoft account too,

and so the beginning thing I did afterward reactivating my account, was to customize my security settings (notification by alternate email only)

promise I could help

greetings from germany

I had the aforementioned trouble over a couple of days, and I tried information technology again and again to unblock my account / creating a new password many times, etc.  but finally I saw always "your account is temp. suspended ...  -  Usage limit exceeded. Try once more tomorrow."

the solution for me:

I used a different phone number (from a friend) for sending/receiving a new unblock code

the reason for blocking my account was an issue with my security settings / notification by: my telephone number,

which I used temporarly for a 2d microsoft business relationship too,

and so the first matter I did after reactivating my account, was to customize my security settings (notification by alternate email but)

This is really helpful! I tried with another telephone number, information technology worked! I have used my telephone number to register a few Microsoft accounts to test my app. Probably that is why it said Usage Limit Exceeded.

Thanks again!
